Admitted as a practicing attorney in 1995, with Rights of Appearance in the High Court and having in excess of 25 years’ experience as an admitted legal practitioner affords our clients’ a significant degree of comfort knowing that their matter will receive due care and attention. In addition, having trained as a mediator and having completed an Advanced Certificate in ADR, he has acted in the resolution of numerous disputes, whether commercial/corporate/ matrimonial/labour and/or engineering by way of conciliation/facilitation/mediation and/or arbitration.

Furthermore: Over the preceding 5 years he has acted in the capacity as initiator, tribunal chairperson and/or investigator for ECSA in numerous disciplinary proceedings involving registered persons. He has acted as a legal consultant to property management companies, including Pareto Limited, Business Venture Investments and Mowana Properties relating to ADR, letters of demand, rent interdict summonses and/or commercial evictions.

Hamish has acted as a labour consultant to a number of corporate clients, in the capacity of initiator or chairperson in various disciplinary proceedings including mediation and/or arbitration, as well as appearing on behalf of clients’ in both CCMA and/or Labour Court proceedings. Hamish has attended to the preparation and drafting of all necessary documentation pertaining to the institution and/or finalisation by settlement or trial of commercial litigation, sequestration and/or liquidations and business Rescues’ in both High Court and/or Magistrate’s Regional or District Courts’ and/or other legal forums.
